| Message | Mr Speaker, Indeed, these would cause big changes and would have changed our society a lot and for something like that there should be a large political majority and not a simple small majority, so therefore I'm very glad that the HLC introduced it this way. However, I cannot support this, Mr Speaker, because this will only restrict people's freedom and would force people to do something that would make them uncomfortable. Faith is a very individual issue and should remain as an individual issue. People should decide for themselves whether they believe or not (even if they go the wrong path). Conviction is "good" but not forcing someone is wrong. "God" gave us the freedom to believe in him or not, if it were not then everyone would be a believer. |
