Bill: RP (secret): Liberals offered deal
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 5012
Description[?]:
Eva Longham's Liberals have been secretly approached by the Imperial Security Service and offered a deal: if the party is willing to accept the monarchy, and protect the ISS's existing status (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=647193), then the security services will not interfere in anything else a Liberal government does in addition to giving them preferential treatment over the Socialists (who the ISS currently, reluctantly work with despite their middle-class membership's opposition to the LSP's economic programme, due to the party being the only one of the two major parties to back the constitutional status quo). Additional favours can also be provided to the party at their request if they agree. |

Message | OOC: My vote in favour is merely to state that I agree with this RP, not necessarily a vote in favour of obligating the Liberals to accept a deal. Their vote against should be taken as a rejection of the deal. Happy to accept any comments. |
