Bill: Crisis within the Luthorian Labour!

Details

Submitted by[?]: Course of Freedom (Kellins faction)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 5253

Description[?]:

57 MPs have decided to leave the Luthorian Labour over disagreements with the party leadership. Most of them helped refound the defunct LSP and hope that the LSP will make a breakthough in the next elections to push for more leftist policies. With 57 less MPs, the governing alliance (LL-LH) lost its majority. Snap elections seem inevitable unless the right-wing opposition decides to form a minority cabinet.

The leader of the parliamentary group of the Luthorian Labour stated these MPs were "totally irresponsible". She said: "We had a stable majority in this parliament. Now, for personal gains, these MPs decide to wreck havoc within this government. This it totally irresponsible. We are not afraid of snap elections, but we expect a return to stability after 4 years of austerity policies."

MessageMr Speaker,

We are delighted and very grateful for the trust and mutual friendship between the LSP and those 57 previously LL MPs. We hope we can deliver on the “more leftist policies” and retain the trust of the MPs. Obviously, however, having the leading party in chaos is a serious matter - which should be resolved by the LL itself. We hope that at least temporary stability can be restored.
