Message | Mr Speaker, Why should we spend public money on people who committed a crime and were put in jail for that crime. Why should we spend public money on a plan to rehabilitate prisoners, a plan which, by the way, does not work, to fight crime, we must not fight against adults, we must fight for the education of our children, we can alert them to the vices of the crime and the penal consequences. We don't have time to waste with people who have failed in life, when we can go to warn about the vices of crime in our schools. I yield Fallon Ramsay-Hayden, Leader of the Imperial Conservative Union |
