Description[?]:

Martleberg House, Alchester, Erneshire - The Orange Palace announced today, after great concern that Her Imperial Majesty, the Holy Luthorian Empress and Queen of Mordusia, Mary III died at the age of 87, in her summer residence at the Martleberg House in Alchester, Erneshire, in a certain serenity, according to the Palace, and accompanied by his loved ones. With this unexpected death, the Lord Privy Seal proclaimed Her Majesty’s death in Parliament and introduced a motion for the Prince of Orange, the heir to the imperial throne, given the consent of Parliament to formally assume its new duties as monarch of the Imperial Commonwealth, composed of two states, Luthori and Mordusia, one where he will take up his duties as Holy Luthorian Emperor and the other where he will take up his duties as King of the Commonwealth of Mordusia, a purely honorary title, because he is represented by the Governor General, elected by the population. The ceremony of accession to the throne took place at Darlington House, where members of the nobility (Princes, Grand-Dukes, Dukes), High Clergy and Imperial Diet gathered at Norfolk Palace, which was the former palace of the Luthorian monarchs, to proclaim Prince Charles of Orange as the new emperor.

A similar ceremony was held at Longsbury Palace in Mordusia (Longsbury Palace being the official residence of the monarch in Mordusia, in his absence it is used by the Governor General of Mordusia, the elected representative of the monarch in Mordusia), where Emperor Charles XI of Luthori was proclaimed King of Mordusia, after a televised ceremony and with several thousand people watching the ceremony outside of Longsbury Palace, it was declared that Charles took as his name of reign his own name, which he has owned since birth, becoming Charles XI, Holy Luthorian Emperor and King of the Commonwealth of Mordusia and thus, becoming the Head of the Imperial Commonwealth. The Orange Palace reported that no date has been set for the organization of the coronation of the new emperor, as the nation is still recovering from its shock after the death of a popular monarch loved by her subjects, the funeral of the late Empress will take place in a month in St Richard’s Cathedral in Fort William, where her subjects will be able to come to pay tribute to the late Empress.

With Charles taking the throne at the age of 55, his wife, Elizabeth, whose love affair had made the rounds of the media, became Empress Consort of Luthori and Queen Consort of Mordusia, becoming the first woman to hold the title since Empress Consort Catherine, who was the wife of Eowin VIII, who died in 5124. Their son, the Duke of Adlerberg, Maximillian of Orange-Villayn Armstead automatically becomes, heir presumptive to the Crown of Luthori and Mordusia and inherited titles from his father with the exception of that of Prince of Orange. The new emperor set up an imperial decree setting up a new name for the imperial family, with the descendants of Edward IV, not ascending the throne taking the name of Carrington and the descendants of William VI taking the name of Orange-Villayn Armstead, he also privately expressed his distrust of the government, will this lead to a constitutional crisis, only time will tell.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
