Bill: Bil NP-133: Stop Proselytisation Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Progress Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 5296

Description[?]:

(This bill was proposed by the Prime Minister Andrew Kelly)
We should ban all foreign missionaries. This solution might seem extreme to some, but it is necessary. If it is clear that many missionaries have good intention, their presence often create division within our nation. Moreover, there is always the risk that some of these missionaries may have ulterior motives. They may use their position to spread radical ideas or influence vulnerable individuals. This can lead to the radicalization of some of our citizens and put the safety and security of our nation at risk.

Provision:
Article 1.1) This bill will make all act of Proselytisation by foreign missonaries illegal within it's border.
Article 1.2) The term ''foreign missonaries'' shall be defined as an individual who doesn't permantly reside in Hutori that comes to Hutori for the purpose of proselytising.

MessageMr. Speaker,

In any case an exclusion should be made in the law, it should be for domestic citizens, not foreigners. The fact this provision existed in the first place is despicable. We will fully support this legislation passing.

MessageOOC: I have modified the description of the bill because the previous version mentioned a law that simply does not exist anymore.

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law.

Random quote: "You can't give the government the power to do good without also giving it the power to do bad, in fact, to do anything it wants." - Harry Browne
