| Preamble: Recognizing the desire of the Federal Union of Gaduridos to become a vessel of the Crown of Luthori, the House of Commons presents this bill to ratify the constitutional amendments required for this integration. With the approval of His Most Excellent Imperial & Royal Majesty, Charles XI, and the consent of the Luthorian House of Commons, this constitutional amendment aims to establish a framework for the incorporation of Gaduridos into the Holy Luthorian Empire. Article 1: Establishment of the Crown Vessel Status The Federal Union of Gaduridos shall become a vessel of the Crown of Luthori. Upon the passage of this Constitutional Amendment, His Most Excellent Imperial & Royal Majesty, Charles XI, shall be granted the title King of Gaduridos. Article 2: Inclusion in the Imperial Commonwealth The Federal Union of Gaduridos shall be granted a designated role within the Imperial Commonwealth. The details regarding the specific rights and responsibilities of Gaduridos within the Imperial Commonwealth shall be determined through further legislation and agreements. Article 3: Distribution of Seats in the House of Peers The new ruler of Gaduridos shall be granted the authority to distribute 30 seats in the House of Peers as they see fit, including the option to vest these seats with the government of Luthori. The process for appointing members to these seats shall be determined by the ruler of Gaduridos, in accordance with the existing laws and customs of Luthori. Article 4: Royal Ascension and Challenges to Legislation All bills passed by the Parliament of Gaduridos shall be sent to Luthori for royal ascension. The Government of the Holy Luthorian Empire shall have the right to challenge any bill passed by the Parliament of Gaduridos within one year of its passage. The process for challenging bills shall be established by Luthorian law and regulations. Article 5: Repeal of the Constitutional Amendment The repeal of this Constitutional Amendment shall require a two-thirds majority vote in the Parliament of Luthori. A referendum of the Luthorian people shall be conducted to finalise the Integration of the Federal Union of Gaduridos into the Crown of Luthori. The procedures for conducting the referendum and its timeline shall be defined by Luthorian electoral legislation. Article 6: Effective Date and Grace Period This constitutional amendment shall go into effect following the approval of His Most Excellent Imperial & Royal Majesty, Charles XI, and the consent of the Luthorian House of Commons. A grace period of five years shall be granted for the preparation and implementation of the necessary arrangements to facilitate the transition of Gaduridos into a Crown Vessel. | Message | OOC: I just need to say one thing, the Emperor outright refuses to take the Crown for some reasons, the first being that Gaduridos has some noble families that could take the throne if the monarchy is restored, secondly, no real cultural link exists between Luthori and Gaduridos, I am even surprised that anyone in some countries has the idea of putting the Luthorian Crown in some random country without even consulting the Controller of the Monarchy, and without any RP to support it. So, as I stated in the discord, I will happily ignore that RP, which is unrealistic. And if you guys continue to push for that RP, I will just make the Emperor outright refuse that Crown. |
