Voting deadline: October 5320

Description[?]:

The Hayer institute conducted a voting intentions polls with 1,500 respondents. The resutls are as such:
- CDU 34% (+6%)
- Salvation 28% (+3%)
-PLP 12% (-9%)
-Whigs 11% (New)
- Socialists 9% (-10%)
-RP 6% (=)

Following the conclusion of the state of emergency, the political landscape in Luthori is experiencing significant shifts, according to the latest poll results. While the Conservative Democratic Union (CDU) appears to have gained ground with 34% of the votes, an increasing number of their supporters are shifting their allegiance to the religious fundamentalist Salvation Party, which has reached a record high of 28% in the polls. With this surge, the Salvation Party has solidified its position as the largest opposition party and a formidable contender in the upcoming ducal elections.

Another noteworthy development is the rise of the newcomer Whigs party, which has garnered 11% of the votes, positioning itself as the fourth-largest party. Surpassing the socialists, who are projected to face a crushing defeat with only 9% of the votes, the Whigs have gained significant momentum. The New Progressive Liberal Party (PLP), though losing some ground compared to the previous poll, secures the third position with 12% of the votes.

The Reform Party, which had previously enjoyed a considerable following, now faces the consequences of their participation in the Bennett Ministry. With only 6% of the votes, the Reform Party is paying a high price as their supporters have largely defected to the PLP or the Whigs, reflecting a changing political landscape and increasing competition for the Reform Party's base.

These poll results highlight a dynamic and evolving political environment, where the CDU faces a challenge from the rising popularity of the Salvation Party, the emergence of the Whigs as a significant player, and the decline of the socialists. The upcoming ducal elections will be crucial in determining the future direction of Luthori's political landscape and the balance of power among these parties.
