Message | Madam Speaker, Firstly I have great respect for Gwen Granholm. However, this piece of big business legislation would undermine our free market by forcing struggling independent entrepreneurs to spending what is quintessentially survival money on needlessly restructuring their company. Don't fix what isn't broken, is our motto. Leave the economy the way it is. |

Message | Madam Speaker, Business that have corporate board are rarely small and struggling. I understand the concerns of the senator from the CPH of not wanting to stir things up when it comes to business management. Yet, contrary to what the said, including worker in corporate boards would not necessitate large restructuration of their business. It is a rather simple modification that can be done very easily that has little risk of affecting the productivity of any corporation. I would also disagree with my colleague on one more thing, the system is broken and need to be fix. Workers are powerless in a large corporation that suffocate them without leaving them any voice. There is an emergency to empower the hutorian working force and give them a capacity to influence decisions. -Gwen Granholm Minister of Trade and Industry Senator for Kincardine Paradise Leader of the NPP in Roccato |
