MessageMadam Speaker, it is highly hypocritical for the Reform Party, with all due respect for their conviction, to talk about sanctity of life for unborn fetuses, when they just initiated and passed a draconian bill re-instating the death penalty.

MessageMadam Speaker, we respect the right of the Liberal Party to disagree with this bill, however it is not hypocritical or draconian. We believe unborn babies deserve the right to live and have done nothing to lose this right, while murderers should not have the right to live when this right was violently taken away from their victim(s). This is only fair.

(OOC: If there was a more specific law that clarified which crimes were punishable by the death penalty we would have picked it. To be fair, capital crimes is a bit broad, but it was the only option available.)
