Since 5310s, Luthori has been experiencing a decline in individual freedoms and erosion of democratic principles since the start of Bennett regime in 5316. Pro-democracy movements continue to call for change, however, people seem to not listen to. After much political turmoil in Luthori, former leader of PLP and an incumbent MP for CF Harvey Sunny finally broke his silence and spoke about the past and the current issues of Luthori. The speech was:

"I would like to speak about the unfortunate happenings in Luthori. Our beloved nation has been being plagued by the first dictator Garrett Bennett and the second but not less dictator Micheal Humperdinck, their arbitrary decisions has been causing democratic backsliding since 5317 when a state of dictatorship by Bennett regime was declared.

After the state of dictatorship, democratic backsliding continued with the illegal authorization of Puppet Security Service to organize attacks against republican organizations by dictator Bennett, which further speeded up the already continuing backsliding. The backsliding even did not end with attacks and continued further with the reinstatement of death penalty by Humperdinck regime. These are beyond undemocratic, these are anti-democratic!

The backsliding was further exacerbated when Puppet Security Service was authorized to begin survelliance missions against dissidents all through Luthori. According to the their portrayal, these 'missions' are made against the foreign spies, however, in reality, these 'missions' are made against dissidents. If the democratic backsliding continues, electoral autocracy will end and full autocracy will start. I warn all people at start, do not say I did not say!"

The speech of Harvey Sunny highlighted the democratic backsliding in Luthori that still continues and the malicious actions of Humperdinck regime. It is hoped the regime will stop the missions against dissidents and work for the re-establishment of democracy.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.

Random quote: "The two greatest obstacles to democracy in the United States are, first, the widespread delusion among the poor that we have a democracy, and second, the chronic terror among the rich, lest we get it." - Edward Dowling
