Bill: Abortion Restriction Law of July 5337
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party (Hardliners)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 5338
Description[?]:
Conservatives reacted very badly to the implementation of abortion in the country, conservatives and clerics across the country criticized a "malicious decision" towards religion and religious doctrine, which recognizes that a child is alive in the body of its mother, and that it would be a sin to kill it, the Holy Luthori Church's main archbishop, the Archibishop of Oalapo, condemned a "meaningless" government decision and expressed its wish that "the forces of reason trumps those of comfort." The Constitutional Democratic Union, in its commitment to the pro-life struggle in the country, has proposed, via MP Roberta Clark, legislation that would restore the ban on abortion for women, except in a serious case where the life of the mother is in danger. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
