Be it enacted by the Imperial Diet, Article 1 - The formation and maintenance of any communist, syndicalist, anarchist parties, referred to as the far-left in this act, in ideology or nature is prohibited by the passage of this law. Article 2 - This law authorizes the Imperial Security Service and the Committee on National Security and Preservation of the State to take all necessary measures to repress far-left organizations throughout the imperial territory. Article 3 - This law authorizes the Imperial Electoral Committee (IEC) to ban parties it judges to be far-left for non-compliance with this same law. Article 4 - This law would need to be approved by two-thirds of the Imperial Diet (433 seats) to become law. Article 5 - This law can be repealed by the support of half of the Imperial Diet (currently 325 seats). |
