| Message | Mr. Speaker, I nominate William Stewart as the Governor of the Bank of Luthori. As the Prime Minister, I have spoken at length with the Chancellor of the Exchequer to submit this nomination to the Imperial Diet and we hope that this relatively incorruptible and transparent profile will suit all the political groups within this Imperial Diet, although we expect fierce opposition from some parliamentary groups. Mr. Stewart’s profile is quite impeccable, he was a professor of economics at Imperial College, then Chief Executive Officer of the Martwick-Alchester Banking Company (MABC) during 4 years, where he presided under a period of relative financial stability and growth in a stabilizing and confident way for the markets. We hope that this background in the private sector will help him to receive the confidence of the members of the Imperial Diet. His service in the public sector, as Vice-Governor of the Bank of Luthori, under the leadership of now retired Governor Matthew Grinwich, between 5431 and 5433, notably helped with the closure of the Aldegar Canal by announcing that the Bank "would help all the failing companies", an announcement that had reassured the Fort William Stock Exchange, then feeling the papillion effect from Lourenne. Today, I come before the Diet to appoint not only a competent person at the head of the central bank, but also a trans-partisan person, going through political differences. The Rt' Hon.
