Description[?]:

"It is ten years since we last attempted to get this passed yet we must try again":

(Quote from September 2264 Bill)

"The original National Energy Reform Bill proposed by the Party for National Reform and Freedom catered effectively and efficiently for the entire population of Keymon. It ensured the basic need of energy was supplied to all regardless of wealth and was accomodated in the budget for the nation.

In a recent bill by the Liberal Representatives here the policy for energy generation was altered allowing private stations to exist. First it is worth noting that this was one part of a six part bill and we feel that many of the parties that voted for it did so out of a desire to see the other proposals implemented. Furthermore it has been 18 years [now 27 years] since the original Energy Reform Bill was passed and the nationalised firms are now fully adjusted to work with the legislation. This recent bill was proposed and passed in the chaos of the Likaton occupation and has left energy firms confused as to where they stand. This, combined with damage to the infrastructure from bombing raids, has created the negative effect of energy provision actually falling and some homes going without.

If the nation is to rebuild its energy sector and ensure all individuals in society are guaranteed fair provision then this bill must be passed."
