Description[?]:
The National Labor Party (NLP), previously known as Malivia Left (ML), is a socially progressive party promoting democracy, civil rights and national identity. As Malivia Left, the party enacted huge reform in Malivia between January 2590 and March 2591 in a coalition with the Social Democrat Party. The coalition turned around a worrying period of conservativism and monarchism, resulting in a fairer and more equal political system in Malivia. The NLP currently holds approximately 20% of the current Parliament of Malivia and is led by new leader Sarvak Udeshy, who took control after the tragic death of former-Maharaja Jay Mizzi. Platform of the NLP: - It is our strong belief that we must do everything within our power to maintain the heritage and identity of Malivia and Malivians alike so long as it is for the benefit of the nation. - Whilst we are committed to our beliefs that history and identity must be considered, we believe that the economy and future development of our nation must take priority. - We believe that religion must never be a part of the political system of any nation. We are committed to providing Malivia with a fair, equal and moral society based on internationally accepted standards, as oppose to religious beliefs. - As a new policy at the hands of Sarvak Udeshy, we now support Malivian internationalism. We believe that a safe region can only be established when all nations work together diplomatically to improve relations. - Also new to this party, we have reconsidered our stance to the Malivian military. It is our belief that the defence of our glorious nation must be maintained. Therefore, we are committed to maintaining a strong army and military capable of defending our people and our future. The National Labor Party is determined to maintain and promote these beliefs through the distant future, regardless of its success in Parliamentary elections. Sarvak Udeshy National Labor Party |
