Description[?]:
The Christian Party (CP) was found in January 2403 by a group of religious minded people in Dandratur who were degusted with how the other two main parties were running the country. It expresses a strong belief in morality, conservativism and capitalism. By the end of the 2404 election the party had 54,000 registered voters. The party ranks were filled by eager Christian as a religious reawakening sweep the country. 14 million citizens joined the party by the 2407 elections. All ready to push for morality in the Pontesian State. In the 2410 election 2 million more people flocked to the party bringing its membership to a total of 16 million people. In the 2413 election the CP reached the pinnacle of power, to date, with the election of its candidate for the head of State and attracted another 2 million voters to the party. In the Second national election of 2413 the CP reached 20 million supporters. During this year the party passed the Health act. The act not only made contraceptives, abortion and euthanasia illegal, but made recreational drug use illegal and made the sale of tobacco and alcohol to adults only. The bill is considered the parties greatest victory to date. During 2413 a communist party was formed in Pontesi. To combat the evils of socialism and communism the CP formed the Holy Guard. The Holy Guard was the militant wing of the CP and stood to use force to protect the faith. In 2416 the combined efforts of the Holy Guard and local citizens saw the defeat of the communist party of Pontesi. The party evaporated as the militant wing waged a guerilla war with the military and the moderate and hardliners of the party split. In 2509 the CP was then resurrected, like our Lord, as the Christian Fascist Party with the moderates driven of the party. In 2560 the Christian Revolution swept the Pontesian Empire. Everything from the instituting of a mandatory Christian Church to the combating of all kinds of moral evil. Also the welfare state was ended, capitalism brought to its purist form and the heathens were made to feel the fiery burn of hell. The CFP reached its greatest strength accomplishing practically everything it set out to do as a party. * Please note that Fascist does not mean anti Semitic as we are a Zionist party. |
