Description[?]:
Our platform is simple: Letting stupid people have dangerous things gets them out of the gene pool. Yet there are other ways to get them out even quicker. Modern Society has reduced the potential of natural selection among humans. We propose enforced artificial selection to compensate. More complexly put: Natural Law is a wonderful thing. The laws of physics and the laws of the jungle are the simple, logical laws to follow Humans however, feel the need to constantly try to violate these laws. While gravity and inertia can enforce themselves, and aid the self-enforcement of natural selection in the process, other natural laws are not so fortunate. This same species which can not respect the laws of physics, also can not respect the laws of territory and behavior that govern most higher levels of organisms. The Alliance for Natural Law recognized that humankind is seriously messed up form of animal, and seeks to restore the natural order of things to the rules and functioning of human society. For that reason, there is some need of human law, that the petty minds of humans with their respect for artificial codes and not for natural rights to secure the rights and liberties of man under the natural law. Nevertheless, the idea that government should ever have a monopoly on force is most abhorrent. While it would be most effective to simply ensure that the laws of natural selection are enforced to their fullest, this is sadly impractical. For this reason, we instead propose that government serves solely as an arbiter among societies in which no individual must play a part, and to establish the equilibrium of liberty of all humankind under natural law. The ANL stands for a limit on government. We stand for liberty. Positive liberty true, but we need negative liberty and in large doses. When in doubt, go with the negative. We need small, local, limited, responsible, deliberative, and accountable government, and it must be all those things, for it is a danger if it lacks even one. Government must be small, streamlined against bureaucracy. Governement must be local, devolved to the lower governments whenever possible, though this should not be an infringment on the rights of the individual. Governemnt must be limited in the scope and sphere of its powers to the absolute minimum needed to secure the equal blessings of liberty for its citizens. Government must be responsible, only voting laws that are absolutely necessary. Government must be deliberative, and weigh carefully the effects of each each decision. Government must be accountable, we must not allow the man to get away with abuse. We spport population control and parental qualifications in a way that one little government restriction can keep the government from an excuse to intevene later on. We support a sutainable environment to further our quality of life and prevent polluters from infringing on the rights to health of others without their volition and compensation. We support an aggressive foreign policy to promote liberty abroad. This, however, should stop short of war unless war comes to our borders. |

Random quote: "No one today can afford to be innocent, or indulge himself in ignorance of contemporary governments, politics and social orders. The national polities of the modern world maintain their existence by deliberately fostered craving and fear: monstrous protection rackets. The 'free world' has become economically dependent on a fantastic system of stimulation of greed which cannot be fulfilled, sexual desire which cannot be satiated and hatred which has no outlet except against oneself, the persons one is supposed to love, or the revolutionary aspirations of pitiful, poverty-stricken marginal societies like Cuba or Vietnam. The conditions of the Cold War have turned all modern societies - communist included - into vicious distorters of man's true potential." - Gary Snyder |
