Description[?]:
The Republican Party of Baltusia is a Baltusian political Party that draws its origins back to the founding of the United States in 4450. Formerly one of the most powerful political Parties within the nation. Fiscally and socially conservative, the modern day Republicans exist to offer Baltusians conservatives a true alternative to the centre-left centre-right coalition that exists today. The Party is lead nationally by Claire Sweetwater, a Member of Parliament from Attano and a descendant of Vice President Julian Sweetwater, considered the father of the Republican Party during its dominance, a time still referred to as the Sweetwater Revolution. ------------------------------ Notable Characters: Claire Sweetwater Chairwoman of the Republican National Committee (4642 - Present) Member of Parliament from Attano 17th District (4643 - Present) Republican Parliamentary Leader (4643 - Present) ============================ The Mavericks Caucus is a major faction within the Republican Party of Baltusia, one of the two major political parties in Baltusian politics. The Mavericks Caucus is the evolution of the Evangelical and Conservative Caucuses that took in other minor factions when it collapsed, including fiscal conservatives, foreign policy hawks, and their traditional base of Republicans, with most of the Moderates caucusing with the Nationalists or Libertarians. The Maverick Caucus is considered the de-facto leader of the Republican Party, having consistently delivered the largest caucus size to Congress since its founding and the Sweetwater Revolution of the Party in the early 4470s. ========== Former Notable Characters Martha Rawlins Congresswoman for New Egelion (4468 - 4484) House Minority Whip (4468 - 4472) Speaker of the House of Represenatives (4472 - 4484) Charles Pickens Senator for New Egelion (4464 - 4472) Attorney General of the United States (4472 - 4476) Governor of New Egelion (4476 - 4480) 7th President of the United States (4480 - 4484) Julian Sweetwater Senator for Attano's 4th Senatorial District (4464 - 4476) Chairman of the Republican National Campaign (4468 - 4476) Senate Majority Leader (4472 - 4476) Vice President of the United States (4476 - 4480) Chairman of the Baltusian Future Political Action Comittee (4480 - 4485) Marcus Wainwright Senator for Santiago Senate Majority Leader Marisa Woodbury National Security Advisor to the President of the United States (4472 - 4480) Secretary of State of the United States (4480 - 4492) Derek Shepard Representative for Santiago's 58th District (4472 - 4500) House Majority Leader (4472 - 4484) House Minority Leader (4484 - 4488) Speaker of the House (4488 - 4500) Ryan Lloyd Governor of Santiago (4472 - 4488) Vice President of Operations, Ross Motors (4488 - 4492) 9th President of the United States of Baltusia (4492 - 4500) Winston Danforth Assistant Director of the FIB New Valois Office (4464 - 4472) Director of the Federal Investigative Bureau (4472 - 4492) Attorney General of the United States (4492 - 4500) |
