| The Communist Party of Jakania is, by itself, largely clean and possesses a spotless humanitarian and political record. It arose amidst international inspiration and support in 2153 and by 2156 had taken almost half of the now 'Supreme Council' seats. Together along with a political alliance of other likeminded Parties rising to power on their coattails, they achieved Supreme Bloc control by 2300, and would maintain such control for an eight year period. After which a growing Islamic movement was seen starting to show its routes on the international scene. Stopping its steamrolling of Legislative process after Legislative process the party slipped from popularity, and basically existence by 2312. The Fallout of power that took place after would see Jakania annexed by Deltarian neighbors, and eventually left to rule by an Islamic iron fist regime, which would later crumble and be replaced by the Second Jakanian Republic. During this lull however, the Movement was there. Hidden, observing and monitoring its adversaries. Being Islam is a religion, and a natural enemy of a communist state, they played the innocent card and remained anonymous and unknown for over six hundred years. Now, however, they arise during the emplacement of what appears to be a Constitutional Monarchy. Funded and supported through an unimaginable web of small, unknown and unworthy freedom fighter groups here and there, their beckon of support comes with the offer of political recognition and support when their party nails the anticipated landslide in elections coming in 2766.. |
