Description[?]:
The Social Liberal Party is a party with democratic beliefs, a pragmatic approach to economics, and a dedication to preserving the natural beauty of Dranland. We firmly believe all individuals, regardless of background or wealth, are born with the right to make the most of their talents and abilities, and therefore are committed to providing the means for them to do so. Although the Social Liberal Party recognises the benefits a competitive capitalist market can bring to our people, we are dedicated to ensuring its existence does not come at the expense of our citizens' welfare, and therefore believe it must be regulated appropriately. The party is committed to increasing the standard of living of all citizens of Dranland, without jeopardising the prosperity of future generations, and is firmly committed to providing our population with quality healthcare and education. Formerly known as the Progressive Federation Party, the Social Liberal Party adopted its current name in December 2208, in order to differentiate itself from the two other parties in Dranland referring to themselves as 'Progressive'. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
