The Democratic Davostan Party is a progressive multi-positioned political party in the Confederation of St. Muron and Davostan. It was founded in July 4200 by its first Chairman Honcho Palma Jr. History ------------------------------------------------------------ Chairmans: Chairman Honcho Palma Jr. July 4200 - November 4208 Founded the party. Created its positions, and helped lead the party into its first election in 4206. No seat gain. Resigned over health issues. Chairman Valerie Langston December 4208 - August 4215 Was elected by party members the month after Honcho resigned, Valerie took on a broken party once elected Chairman. She finished writing the party’s positions. Valerie chaired the party after the election of 4212, which gave the party 82(665) seats in the legislature. She resigned in August of 4215 after a scandal broke for tax evasion. Chairman Laura Davis August 4215 - August 4217 Laura was appointed Chairman by the Executive Council, and assumed office a week after Langston resigned. She reformed the party, and established numerous of positions. A year into her term, she called for party elections. In April of 4216, Laura was elected by party members. She died a year later due to breast cancer at the age of 53. Chairman Xavier Yern September 4217 - November 4222 After a month dispute on who should succeed the Chairmanship after the late Laura Davis, Vice Chairman Xavier Yern succeeded her. A year into Xavier’s term, he led the party into another great election year, gaining another 15 seats in the legislature, increasing the seat count to 97(665). He rewrote party positions, and led the party to success. He announced on February 4221 he was not seeking election to the Chairmanship, leaving it wide open for new contestants. Chairman Harold Finn November 4222 - October 4226 Harold Finn was elected by a small majority in the November 4222 Chairman elections. It was the most negative election the party has ever seen. Harold started out as a political success, with the party reaching 119(665) seats(gaining 22 in the June 4224 election) in the legislature, not losing 1. It went well until, September of 4225, when there leaks of classified documents showing that the Chairman was a foreign agent seeking to destroy the party. October 4226, he was arrested for conspiracy against the country, treason, and terrorism. The Democratic Davostan Party was therefore shutdown. Chairman Honcho Palma IV 4319 - Incumbent Grandson of the founder of the Democratic Davostan Party, Honcho sought to re-found the party. He did so on January 4320. He led the the party through its first election after its re-founding, and gained 20(75) seats in the legislature. He is the current serving Chairman. Leaders: Leader Maxwell Daster May 4204 - June 4206 An old friend of Honcho who took up Leader as a favor to him. Lead the party with Honcho in its first election. Resigned over the lack of seat gain. Leader Robert Russell June 4211 - July 4216 Was appointed Leader the year before the election, Robert was optimistic about the polling. He led a caucus of 82 people after the election. Leader Janet Klein July 4216 - February 4225 Was Deputy Leader under Russell, Klein led the 82 caucus into a 97 one. Died in February from a gunshot wound to the head. Leader Henri Shadit February 4225 - October 4226 Henri was a co-conspirator of Harold. Was arrested the weak before Harold was. |
