Description[?]:
The Moderate Republican Party is an organization that is prided on conducting what is best for the people of the Cildanian Republic. We have numerous stances on a variety of issues including: Military Activity: We are for military action if the Cildanian Republic is attacked by any external or internal forces. This party also supports the build up of a strong national defense program so that we may keep peace and stabilty allowing this nation to prosper. Economy: We are strongly for a capitalist-based economy and support policies of laissez-faire. The govenment should have little to no control over the economy and should only control it during times of severe economic hardship. Environment: We are a very pro-environmental party and support laws that protect it from harmful pollution. Science and Technology: We support laws that promote the advancement of science and technology including stem cell research. Education: We believe it is the right of every child to a good education. An educated workforce helps build a better and stronger economy. Religion: This party supports religious freedoms but believes in strong seperation of church and state. Gay and Lesbian Rights: We support giving homosexual people rights including the right to marry. Gun Control: This party is for the restriction of guns and gun sales. Weapons should be banned from all public places. This party currently has a temporary political alliance with the Liberal Democratic Party. Although we do not agree on all issues with the L.D.P., it is a sensible political organization that prides itself on enacting laws that are best for the people of Cildania. |

Random quote: "What are you trying to protect heterosexual marriages from? There isn't a limited amount of love in Iowa. It isn't a non-renewable resource. If Amy and Barbara or Mike and Steve love each other, it doesn't mean that John and Mary can't." - Ed Fallon |
