Description[?]:
The Rutanian National Front was formed June 4178 by the formal consolidation of the minor right-winged parties present in the state-level politics of Rutania. The Rutanian National Front seeks to secure economic prosperity for all through strong nationalism centered around the idea of, "Peace and Prosperity Through Strength." A main catalyst for the formation of the party was opposition to the reemergence of a formal aristocracy in Rutania. While many supporters had been wary for years of the radical free market economics practiced by the modern "right," the state-sponsored stratification of society was the final straw. To supporters of the National Front, citizenship is the first, only, and most supreme title that can be bestowed upon a Rutanian. With reverence to the idea of "Rutanian citizenship," firmly established within the party, it follows logically that the National Front supports policies designed establish a strong state capable of protecting the citizens of Rutania from adversaries foreign and domestic. A commitment to a strong, professional, military features prominently in National Front literature. Promises to create national systems of healthcare, education, and retirement secure the party's commitment to the economic and personal wellbeing of all of Rutania's citizenry. Seemingly neither far-left nor far-right, the National Front claims the "radical center" as its territory as it seeks to defend the Commonwealth. Random quote: "In Germany they first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me--and by that time no one was left to speak up." - Pastor Martin Niemoller |
