The Workers Liberation Party is a radical Marxist party, aiming to abolish capitalism and create a Socialist state.

5-Point Transitional Programme:

- Nationalisation of the commanding heights of industry
- All industry under democratic workers control
- The complete seperation of church and state
- The guarantee of housing, adequate income education and healthcare to all citizens
- Equal rights to all regardless of race, nationality, gender, sexuality or religion

The Workers Liberation Party was founded at a conference in 2209 where different Marxist, Socialist and Communist groups met to form a new workers party. Robert Lofgren was elected as leader.

The Workers Liberation Party founded the Kanjor Left-Bloc alliance of left-wing parties at the same conference.

In 2210 the Workers Liberation Party formed the General Workers Union (GWU). The WLP is also affiliated to the General Transport Workers Union (GTWU), the United Public Sector Union (UPSU) and the National Union of Firefighters (NUF).

The armed wing of the Workers Liberation Party is the Workers Liberation Army.
