User[?]: Maverick

Nation[?]: Commonwealth of Mordusia (Mordusia)

Seats[?] in Parliament of the Commonwealth[?]: 0

Color[?]:

Description[?]:

Believes the future of our world rests on the expansion of democracy and freedom.

Believes Mordusian foreign policy should support democratic and freedom loving peoples everywhere.

Believes that the Church and State should be two totally separated entities without any connection, and that there should be complete freedom of religious belief, including the right to hold no belief.

Supports the repeal of all taxes except for a property tax that should be tied to the environmental impact, infrastructural demands and social effect of that property. (For example, an automobile factory would pay a large amount of taxes, a small produce market a much smaller amount and land left in its natural state close to zero)

Supports the implementation of a guaranteed minimium wage so that all Mordusians are able to live above the poverty line and have access to basic living standards. Unemployed, but able, persons can be required to perform public service in exchange for these guarantees.

Because freedom requires responsibilty, we support a mandatory public service program where all able bodied men and women between the ages of 18 and 25 perform one year of public service in the military, environmental work, infrastruture repair and development or in caring for the needy, disabled or elderly.

Supports the elimination of all farm and government subsidies for existing business.

Supports the right of all Maldusian children to education through college.

Supports the legalization of all victimless crimes, whether it be drugs, gambling, prostitution or any other act involving a consenting adult or adults.

Supports the decentralization of the political system so that local communities have the right to determine their future without undue influence from the national government.

Because large campaign contributions unduly influence political candidates, we support the elimination of all campaign contributions by individuals, except for small contributions that all Mordusians are able to give equally.
