The Civic Democratic Party stands for freedom, liberty and democracy. We stand for the continuation of liberalism and libertarianism in Rutania by standing up for our basic principles stated above and by working towards compromise and moderation in all policies areas. We stand firmly for less regulation on Rutanian businesses but also for a government that provides help when needed to those who need it. We stand for the Republic and we stand in opposition to those who would change Rutania into a monarchy. We are a federation of many states with many different cultures and ideologies that is too diverse for a monarchy. Therefore we stand for the continuation of the popularly elected Federal President and wish for the continuation of this system. We stand for a strong military and the continuation of an internationalist foreign policy. We stand for personal liberty for all and for the end to all restrictions upon the Civil Liberties and rights of the people. Lastly, we stand for patriotism and nationalism. We believe that Rutania is an example of the wonders of liberal democracy and we believe that as such we should be proud to be Rutanians and stand by and defend the Federated States. |
