Description[?]:
The Popular Democratic Party seks to providing a brighter and happier future for the nation of Hutori through a tremendous increase in focus on community and civil society. We believe Hutori needs a more democratic and transparent government, committed to rule of law but not law of the ruler, committed to progress but without losing sight of valuable traditions, committed to communities without sacrificing the nation, committed to the nation but not in vacuum. We are based on the following stated principles: - A devotion to civil democracy, federalism and grassroots government - A decreased focus on imperialism, ensuring a more peaceful future - A promise to participate meaningfully on the global stage - A society based on religious and traditional values, irrespective of the name of the religion - A commitment to education, culture and the arts We seek a society built from the ground-up rather than the top-down- an ideal government is a government based on an conglomeration of communities based in mutual trust and acceptance. A trusting society is a self-maintaining society. Trust is the best insurance against despotism. We seek, through commitment to family, faith, charity, culture, education to revitalize trust and social spirit in the nation. |

Voting Record
This is the voting[?] record of the Popular Democratic Party (UM).
Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
Random quote: "A racially integrated community is a chronological term timed from the entrance of the first black family to the exit of the last white family." - Saul Alinsky |
