Description[?]:
The true representatives for the moral majority of Rutania failed by mainstream politicians - evident in the voting records of all other registered political parties showing their amoral and secularist agendas for the disintegration of the moral and social fabric that holds our great nation together. Chairman: Lord Huddersfield Founded: November 3104 ----------------------- Latest edition of THE CITIZEN The newsletter of, by, and for the moral majority of Rutania - THE CITIZEN's Kevin Turner has acquired access to National Front Chairman Lord Huddersfield for an exclusive interview. "Lord Huddersfield, thank you for taking the time to talk to us." "The pleasure's mine, Kevin." "Now I understand that despite the lack of an established aristocracy with a role in the legislative process, you hold your family's ancestral title over the Earldom of Huddersfield." "Indeed I do. You see, in the good old days, the golden age when Rutania was under the enlightened rule of the House of Vandermark my family held this hereditary Junker title with pride, and were loyal subjects of the King. Over the last century Rutania has abandoned its true form and decayed into the republic it is today. My predecessors in the family continued to hold the title 'Lord Huddersfield' to commemorate a past long-dead, I hold it today, and my descendants will hold it in the future." "An inspirational story. And as I understand it you formed the National Front in November last year to stop that decay. Would you care to elaborate?" "Of course. The mainstream parties, or lamestream as I like to call them, all follow the same atheist doctrines and ignoring the voice of the moral majority of Rutanians. Polls conducted by your own newspaper show a declining faith in Rutania's party system by the electorate, and the National Front was formed to reverse that and restore Rutanian democracy and moral integrity. We hope to win our first seats in the National Assembly at next year's election and have a greater impact on the legislative process. Currently we rely on very brave pressure groups and our think tanks the Committee for Moral Sanitation and the God & Country Institute for our part in the democratic process. We plan to continue to utilise these resources but we need to have people inside the National Assembly to make a difference for the people of Rutania." "And what do you make of criticism from the current President's party, the Democratic Reform Party, who describe you and the National Front as, and I quote, 'bigoted, homophobic idiots'?" "I find it regrettable that the DRP would stoop to personal attacks. But I could expect no less when a party like the DRP defends the indefencible - the promotion of homosexuality and atheism in schools. 'Bigot' is a word often thrown around these days devoid of any other meaning than 'I could respectfully disagree with you but I'd rather take the opportunity to attack you.' Thankfully the electorate is sure to punish the DRP for their childishness at the next election." "That's all we have time for. Thank you very much for your comments Lord Huddersfield." "I look forward to seeing this in print. Feel free to stop by for another interview any time." - In other news, the National Front Food & Agriculture Spokesman Boycie Maine has started a party initiative to promote organic farming in Rutania and healthy living by Rutanians. He also encourages Rutanian youngsters to enroll in the Rutanian Youth Brigade, the National Front's youth movement, for regular camping trips where young people can learn the values of healthy living, self-sustainability, and fraternity. (OOC: I do feel a bit bad about the aggressive rhetoric, Afro-Amer93. It's a truism but I can't emphasise enough that this is just IC.) |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
