The Aldegarian National Party (Hezb-e Melli-ye Aldegār) is a political party in Aldegar which combines nationalist views with left-wing economic policy. The ANP is committed to the preservation of the Shah. It is a broad coalition of members, each with their own sympathies and constituents but the primary ideologies were: •Nationalism- the ANP recognises all members of Aldegarian society are inherently bound to one another and should, as a result, serve their nation in whatever way possible in order that Aldegar might flourish, creating economic and social prosperity for all. •Traditionalism- the customs and traditions of our past have stood the test of time despite endless attempts at erosion, the ANP argues that this proves undoubedtly that they are worthy of further preservation and advancement. •Socialism- as the citizens give all in their power to the nation, so the nation should give back to its citizen; through government ownership of industry and services, the ANP believe the weakest can be protected from destitution by their compatriots. •Shahism/Monarchism- the Shah has been the most effective and revered ruler in Aldegar throughout its history and, consequently, the ANP wish to see the legacy of the Shahdom preserved for decades and centuries to come. •Pacifism- all individuals need to be protected, particularly Aldegarian nationals, killing contradicts that notion. |
