Description[?]:
The Monarchist Tory Party is a centre-right party which primarily calls for the reinstatement of a monarchy, along with Conservative and Capitalist ideas. The party follows the ideology of Toryism, a traditional form of conservatism. The Monarchist Tory Party was founded in February 4957, by Joseph Brown, a former university professor. List of past and present Leaders: Sir Joseph Brown, 1st Baronet: - Leader between February 4957 - August 4969 - Title received after leadership Bartholomew Poole: - Leader between August 4969 - January 4979 Cornelius Greenwood-Kimbrough: - Leader between March 4979 - August 4997 - Prime Minister: February 4980 - March 4985 Lucas Newman: - Leader between February 4998 - January 5002 Alexander Brown: - Leader between April 5137 - October 5150 Magdalena Webb: - Leader between January 5151 - Present List of past and present Deputy Leaders: Andy Wahlberg: - Deputy Leader between March 4979 - August 4997 Jade Marston: - Deputy Leader between February 4998 - January 5002 Peter Humphries: - Deputy Leader between April 5137 - October 5150 Cameron Becker-Parker - Deputy Leader between January 5151 - Present Economic position: Centre-right Capitalism Social Position: Centre-right, moderate Conservatism The Monarchist Tory Party holds four major values which dictate many of their opinions and beliefs: 1. Restore/support the monarchy - At the time of the party being founded, there was no longer a monarchy in Luthori. The Monarchist Tory Party supports, and will always support a constitutional monarch to act as the Head of State. The party does, however, still support democracy, and wishes for the peaceful co-existence of developed legislative systems and a constitutional monarch. 2. The job of the Government is to protect its citizens whilst allowing them to prosper - The Monarchist Tory Party believes that the Government should do everything in their power to protect Luthorians from harm. This means that they support well funded police forces, good healthcare and prisons which protect society from criminals. They also believe though that the Government mustn’t have too much interference in the decisions that their citizens make in their daily lives, and so, the correct balance must be found. 3. Free markets work, (usually) - The party believes that in most circumstances, the idea of free markets, allowing privately owned businesses to engage in competition, the idea that private businesses and individuals own capital, works. In most circumstances, the party adopts a rather laissez-faire altitude. This excludes healthcare however, which the party believes should be free at the point of need, or, if not possible, heavily subsidised and funded. 4. Individuals are responsible for themselves - This can be applied to almost anything, and is a sort of “if you break it, you fix it” attitude. People should be allowed to earn their money through hard work. People should take responsibility for their actions. People should work to earn a living. This idea makes the party generally opposed to high unemployment benefits and high taxation. Party logo: https://imgur.com/a/fNVvauT |
