We believe the greatest threat to individuals is lack of economic opportunity, education and health-care. We believe in a foreign policy supporting the promotion of democracy, the protection of human rights and where possible, effective multilateralism. We are the future of Rutania, we are the New Liberal Party. April 2484 - The New Liberal Party gain 8,747,203 votes and gains 68 seats. August 2486 - 3 Ministers from The New Liberal Party become part of the cabinet. NLP now runs the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Social Services and the Ministry of Education and Culture. August 2488 - Wes Eardley and Dave Lister become part of the Government of the Enlightenment Coalition as Minister of Health and Social Services and Minister of Education and Culture respectively. April 2489 - Dave Lister, Minister of Education and Culture, passes landmark bill 'Education Standards Commission 2488' the most comprehensive education reform bill in the history of Rutania. April 2492 - New Liberals gain 6 seats in the Election and gained 1.48% more of the vote. April 2496 - Election success culminates in an extra 25 seats for the New Liberals taking their total to 91. April 2512 - NLP's most successful election ever culminates in 85 seats. |
