Description[?]:
The Philosophical party always uses common sense and reason. Ethically, the philosophical party follows Immanuel Kant's principles. "Always act according to that maxim whose universality as a law you can at the same time will." The Philosophical partys primary concern is education, and especially education in philosophy. So called religious brain-washing is the worst thing we know. This doesn't mean that we think religion is bad, as long as believers doesn't try to force (often with psychological methods) their religion on others. Each person should be taught basic philosophy and then decide which religion to belive in. We even concider atheism a religion. Our stance on religion is that there may be one or several gods, that we cannot know of. However we cannot know that there are no gods either. Therefore atheism is as much religion (a belief that there are no gods) as christiancy (belief in a God). |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
Random quote: "The moral justification of capitalism does not lie in the altruist claim that it represents the best way to achieve 'the common good.' It is true that capitalism does, if that catch-phrase has any meaning, but this is merely a secondary consequence. The moral justification for capitalism lies in the fact that it is the only system consonant with man's rational nature, that it protects man's survival qua man, and that its ruling principle is justice." - Ayn Rand |
