| The Signatories of this Treaty agree to impose no protectionist measures against other Signatories, including tariffs and/or quotas, thereby creating a truly international free trade agreement, raising the living standards of peoples across the world, and encouraging choice and competition. Domestic legislation on international trade does not apply to Signatories of this Agreement. |
