Details
Submitted by[?]: New Democratic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3349
Description[?]:
Recently, the government of al'Badara has decided to invest in Zardic industries in an attempt to undermine the Zardic economy. This should not be tolerated by this government. Therefore, we propose that these Badaran assets be seized by the government without compensation. Badarans will no longer be permitted to invest in Zardic companies. |

Message | AND HOW EXACTLY Does one propose this is done? Simply seizing them by the government? THAT SMELLS OF COMMUNISM It would seem the current law remains. The current law allows investment without restriction or limitation. IS THIS NOT A VIOLATION Of many Free Trade treaties, the entirety of the economic policy of Zardugal, and the current law? Under what grounds is this being taken? (OOC: How exactly do you propose this is legal and not Godmodding?) |

Message | The Government of Badara has issued this response to the Illegal Nationalization of Badaran assets, in violation of current Zardic law, The Majatran Free Trade Agreement, the Treaty of Venetium, and the free-market principals Zardugal seems to adhere in its rhetoric. And also in its laws. Which remain unchanged. Or do the laws of Zardugal not apply to the Zardic government? Perhaps they only apply to her colonies, the mainland is above and beyond her own Legislative body. You shall see us in court, Mr. Speaker. http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=79&p=41986#p41986 --- Foreign Affairs Vanguard Chaz Al-Ahmad |
