MessageMr. Speaker,

The PPFD has won a plurality of seats, being less than 5% short of a solid majority. They are currently the most popular party in Lodamun, and deserve to be in the government. We understand and agree with that.

However, we cannot support a cabinet with the Federalist Party. They are the least popular party in Lodamun. They only have seats in 2 states. They won no seats in the 3 states with the highest population. We should really take a close look at the election results: http://classic.particracy.net/viewnews.php?newsid=423253

The Federalists want to control Trade & Industry, while not knowing anything about Lodamun's economy.
- The first example, Mr. Speaker, is their false claim that all of Lodamun's industry is owned and operated by the state: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=409645
- The second example, Mr. Speaker, is that they have proposed to cut taxes on luxury goods without informing the Presidium of the change in revenue and whether it will be necessary to cut spending: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=409765

MessageMr. Speaker,

We are in favor of a winner's cabinet. We are also confident that the Federalists will do a bit of studying so that they better understand our economy, in order to reform it drastically.

MessageMr. Speaker,

They didn't do it the first time. What will make them do it this time? Before the last election for the Presidium, they made the claim that all industry in Lodamun is owned and operated by the state. This claim is false, and they have not withdrawn it. After the last election, they proposed a ridiculous bill to ban DWCs and cut our revenue by 34%. They haven't proposed a budget cut to go along with the cut in revenue. They probably don't care. They are not competent to handle the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, they only have seats in 2 states, and those states had the smallest population in the last election.

MessageMr. Speaker,

As the FP and the PPFD have the most similar outlook when it comes to policy, it is only natural that we would desire to work together.

I'd like to remind the body that a coalition government of PPFD and the FP constitutes a majority.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We know that the FP and PPFD together have a majority. The coalition is legitimate. what we fear is the FP's incompetence. It will destroy Lodamun.
