While I applaud the initiative and caring of the SLP for bringing this forward I am concerned by the lack of direction or structure of this Bill. How would we fund these government run shelters? Which department would run them? Would local or Provincal governments be able to participate? What if they already have shelters in place?

I understand my collagues concern about the fund for support this bill, my strategy is to raise taxes for corporations and luxury goods to get the right fund for having a more inclusive and kind society. But unfortunately my bill that my party proposed ( http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=525141) was rejected by the current government. If in the upcoming we have the honour to serve in the government for our country, getting the fund will be our priority. But now we believe that approving this bill is the right thing to do.

Well I enjoy the sentiment of the Leader of the Social Liberal Party he did not answer a single one of my questions so I'll ask again.

How would we fund these government run shelters and from what department would the funding and administration come? What if Provincal and Muncipal Government already have them in place? Are we to replace them or simply let it be?
