I.) SENATOR COMPENSATION 1.1.) Senators of the National Senate will be entitled to compensation equal to the National Median Income before taxes which will be adjusted accordingly by the Ministry of Finance based on tax returns annually for the next Fiscal Year. 1.2.) Current Senator Compensation for FY 4237 is set at 67,083 HLR per taxes per annum. 2.) Senators will be compensated for Senate related travel between Bekenial and their home constituency. Receipts will be issued to the Auditor General to ensure compliance that the most reasonable price for transit was found. 3.) Senators will be compensated for a single residence in Bekenial during Seatings of the National Senate and a Constituency Office in their home Constitency. The rent for these properties is not to exceed 2,000 HLR each per month. 4.) All Senator expenses and salaries will be paid and covered by the Ministry of Finance. 5.1.) Any further expenses will be expected to be covered by the Sponsoring Political Party that the Senator belongs to. 5.2.) Independent Senators will be expected to cover additional costs out of pocket. II.) CABINET MINISTERS 6.) Members of the National Cabinet, except the Prime Minister, will be paid an additional 30% of their annual compensation as a sitting Senator. This sum will be covered by their Governing Ministry. 6.2.) Non-Senators who hold Cabinet Level Positions will be paid an annual salary equal to the current wage of a sitting Senator plus 30%. 7.) Ministers of Cabinet on Official Cabinet businesses Williams their expenses for travel and lodgings covered by their Governing Ministry and privy to audit by the Auditor General. III.) PRIME MINISTER 8.) The Prime Minister is to be paid an annual salary equal to the current salary of a sitting Senator plus 50%. This additional sum will be covered by the PMO (Prime Minister's Office). 8.1) The PMO will draw it's budget from the Head of Government budget annually. 8.2.) The PMO will be responsible for the upkeep and budget for the Official Residence of the Prime Minister of Hutori (Otherwise known as Ross House) 9.) All expenses by the PMO will be privy to audit by the Auditor General though classified. IV.) PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC 10.) The President of the Federal Republic will be paid an annual salary of 116,000 HLR. This salary is to be drawn directly from the Budget Covering the Head of Government/State. 11.) The Office of the President of the Federal Republic (OPFR) will draw it's budget from the same budget as the PMO. 12.) The OPFR will cover expenses concerning residence, travel, security, staff, food and any other costs associated by the President. 13.) The Annual Budget for the OPFR will be classified but disclosed to the Auditor General for audit. V.) AUDITOR GENERAL 14.) The passage of this Bill will create the Office of the Auditor General. 15.) The Auditor General is an independent non-partisian Officer of the Senate. 16.) The Auditor General will be nominated by the President and Confirmed by the Senate following a Senate hearing on their qualification. 17.) The Auditor General will be responsible for auditing all government expenses and ensuring compliance on behalf of the Hurorian taxpayers. 18.) The Auditor General will work under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance but will be answerable directly to the Senate. |
