Bill: A Motion to Denounce the Government of Dundorf

Details

Submitted by[?]: 莲花党 (Lotus Party) 🌸

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4256

Description[?]:

The developments coming from Dundorf are shocking and appalling. The Government is expected to pass two pieces of legislation including "Bill: Segregation Now, Segregation Tomorrow, Segregation Forever" (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=533568) and "Bill: Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Fuhrer! (4254)" (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=533397) which will, in essence, transform the Free Republic of Dundorf into a totalitarian state build on a race myth. The government must denounce these changes, and:
1) Begin meeting with international partners to plan a cohesive response,
2) Create a plan to accept any refugees from Dundorf,
3) Gain the assurance of the Government of Dundorf that no Indralan in Dundorf will be negatively affected by the changes proposed,
3a) If that fails, create a plan to get as many Indralans out of Dundorf as possible, as soon as possible,

Leader of the Offical Opposition

Oooooooh! We have been "denounced" by some random nation which, just a couple of years ago, came to us cap in hand to try to get us to support them for a Security Council seat. We're so scared. How will we sleep tonight? I guess we'll just have to reconsider all our policies in the face of this fearsome condemnation.

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too.

Random quote: "The decadent international but individualistic capitalism in the hands of which we found ourselves after the war is not a success. It is not intelligent. It is not beautiful. It is not just. It is not virtuous. And it doesn't deliver the goods." - John Maynard Keynes
