Bill: Repeal of "Bill NP-140: National Welfare Act"
Details
Submitted by[?]: Labour Party of Hutori
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 5307
Description[?]:
(This bill was proposed by Leo Barrett, MP for Kincardine Mount Pearl) The NPP wants to bloat our federal government unnecessarily and the National Welfare Act is clear evidence of that. Labour is not claiming the federal government has done an inadequate job, we are simply trying to delete unnecessary bureaucracy at the federal level. Where is this notion that the local government in Falristan can't handle the welfare needs of its citizens, but some bureaucrat in Bekenial who has never even been to Falristan does, come from? |
