MessageMr. Speaker, while the Liberal Party is ready to engage in debate over devolution of certain ecology matters, such as park policy and recycling programs, we feel that the current bill goes too far. We do not support Article 1 & 2 related to the proposed changes to forest management.

MessageMr Speaker, the Liberal Party appear to have this view that the federal government know more about our forests the rangers employed by local authorities and that is disappointing. Still their agreement with articles 3 and 4 are noted.
