Bill: Grand Coalition Cabinet 5374 - (CDU-WPL-SL-NLF)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party (Whigs)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 5374

Description[?]:

Mr. Speaker,

We have understood the criticism of the Worker's Party, however they are not the biggest party and so they should not get the Prime-Minister role. As a compromise the liberal faction of the CDU shall take over the role of Prime-Minister and head of the government. Secondly we agree with including the National Liberation Front into the coalition and have given them a cabinet position.

To better reflect the shared responsibility the great ministeries are equaly divided over the parties. This should be a great start to bring a stable government back in place. Any further cabinet shuffle and cabinet positions must be discussed at a later time. For the stability of this nation we should vote infavour of this bill and prevent idiocy from running this nation to the ground.

MessageMr. Speaker,

We made a fair and balanced cabinet offer in the best interests of the nation, 6 ministries to the Left and 7 for the Right. The Right rejected it. This proposal gives 9 ministries to the Right and only 4 to the Left.

It is a terrible shame the right wing parties have put their own party interests before the nation.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The WPL is very much mistaken. For starters the SL isnt right. Secondly the seats in cabinet are alocated in accordance to the number of seats the parties have. The CDU gains 6 because we are by far the largest party in the coalition, nearly double the size of the WPL.

Clearly the WPL wants an unrealistic cabinet.
