Description[?]:
The National Union is a right-wing, national conservative political party in New Endralon, Kizenia and Kuzaki (NEKK). The National Union was founded in 4410 as a loose union of various groups that stood opposed to the Liberal government's policies and ideology. The National Union then was a big tent party uniting nearly all of the opposition to the Liberal government, from conservatives to anarchists and even socialists. As such, it harboured elements ranging across the political spectrum and made it the most prominent party for a while. However, due to lack of electoral successes, the National Union splintered into many different groups and the left-leaning factions were gradually expelled as conservatives and right-wing factions gained prominence and influence, especially with increased funding and support by prominent industrialists and business tycoons. Soon the National Union became its modern self, as the left-wing components left the party and the party gravitated to the right to evolve from a catch-all party to a catch-all party for the right of the political spectrum. In 4429, Alexander Váradi, a young lawyer was chosen as the leader of the National Union and he shifted the party's position from being a mere right-wing party to a broad movement that encompassed former centre-left elements as well, shifting the party towards a more National Conservative stance that gained traction even amongst some socialists and some left-wing nationalists. However, the party still is a right-wing party with an overwhelming majority being true blue conservatives. The party enjoys very strong support from farmer's organisations and small business associations along with industrial unions, and its greatest "enemies" are the environmentalists, the liberal globalists and the communist movements. The National Union's ideology is as follows: - National Conservatism - NEKK-ian Unionism - NEKK-ian Nationalism - National Capitalism - Anti-Communism - Social Conservatism - Guided Democracy - Anti-immigration |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
