Details
User[?]: Adam Jackson
Nation[?]: United Republic of Likatonia (Likatonia)
Seats[?] in Federal Congress of Likatonia[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
After the disastrous results of the February 2068 elections, Adam Jackson stepped down to allow John Elliot, his ideological heir-apparent, to take. But a party convention held in March 2068 saw a dramatic change within the party structure. Due to the election results, the left-wing portion of the party had become disenchanted and less vocal; at the same time, the right-wing portion became much more visible and militant within the party. This lead to the conservative leader, Dick Cheney, to become the standard-bearer of the Party. Dick Cheney quickly called for immediate changes within the party. The first was to rename the party from The Freedom Front (one of John Elliot’s changes in the short time he was in power after Adam Jackson, it had originally been named the Liberal Life Party) to the Republican Party. The next was to change the party color. Accompanying these changes were a sharp shift to the right on matters of foreign policy, economics, and social policy. The Republican Party stands for law, order, justice, and sound economic policies. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
