Description[?]:

Jakan İşçi Partisi (Jakanian Labour Party) is a socialist party founded by Dursun Okalan at its 1st Congress held in 20th December, 4990 in the country's capital city.

The Jakanian Labour Party upholds socialism as its ideology. It specifically opts for a socialism which is suited to Jakania's conditions and serves her national interests. The Party seeks to construct a socialist society, getting realized through the establishment of a state of the whole people, with the Party becoming the vanguard. Unlike Marxism, the Labour Party thinks that entire Jakanian society can be called up in socialist construction upon winning power and to peacefully construct socialist relations of production throughout the economic life of Jakania.

Dursun Ocalan, founder and 1st theorist of JİP, put forth his thesis that socialism is not something that comes out of development of productive forces spontaneously, but a system that can be constructed only on the basis of developed consciousness of the nation's working people. Socialism can creatively solve the problem of exploitation by deepening self-governance of society in its due course of construction, which shall enrich the culture and arts of the country by serving her own interests.

One of the demands of establishing a socialist system is to reorganize the administrative apparatus of the state in the interests of the people. Dursun Ocalan criticized the theory of 'dictatorship of the proletariat' as a method to construct socialism, saying that dictatorship of the proletariat evades legality of a society often. Leonid said that dictatorship of the proletariat means a state not restricted by laws. However Ocalan said that to establish socialism, one must break the state of lawlessness and must enshrine a new legal system fitting the democratic framework of the socialist state.

The socialist state existing hand-in-hand with a united national economic complex is the best expression of socialist production and socialist politics in a society, which deepens democracy. Although Okalan criticized the multi-party system, he said that the role of vanguard party in a socialist society must work not in its interest but in the interest of legal structures of the state.

Socialism can be realized when all progressively conscious people of a nation are united with a single collective will with a single goal. Socialist states can only thrive more with focus on moral and political development rather than deterministically holding onto the development of the productive forces. If socialism doesn't incorporate entire society economically and morally, then socialism corrodes.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.

Random quote: "A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government." - George Washington
