Description[?]:
The New Green Party is an environmentalist political party based in the United States of Baltusia, advocating for the protection of the environment that surrounds us. The first iteration of the NGP formed in April 5030 by Zachary Calahan and remained a player in Baltusian politics until its dissolution in January 5203, after nearly 173 years. Nearly 130 years after dissolving began a new movement for the revival of the New Green Party, and in July 5328, the party formed once again. The current party leader, and one of the members who played a significant role in the revival of the party, is Oliver Sheridan Party Leaders: Apr 5030 - Dec 5042 || Zachary Calahan Dec 5043 - Jun 5056 || Stephani Weston Jul 5056 - Feb 5071 || David Snyder Mar 5071 - Aug 5081 || Daniel Perkins Sep 5081 - Aug 5090 || Robin Skinner Sep 5090 - Mar 5098 || Leonardo Pedro Apr 5098 - Oct 5107 || September Stegner Nov 5107 - Dec 5115 || Michael Howe Jan 5116 - Dec 5124 || Ryan Thomas Jan 5125 - Dec 5142 || Nico Bedingfeld Jan 5143 - Dec 5154 || Stamen Nicola Jan 5155 - Dec 5162 || Koda Cortney Jan 5163 - Jul 5165 || Noah Stevenson Aug 5166 - Dec 5183 || Octavania Lenore Jan 5184 - Aug 5196 || Tracy Rush Sep 5196 - Mar 5197 || No Official Leader Apr 5197 - Jan 5203 || Alexis Goralski -- Dissolution of the First New Green Party -- Jul 5328 - Present || Oliver Sheridan |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
Random quote: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, from those who are cold and are not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children." - Dwight D. Eisenhower |
