Description[?]:
The Front of the Anticapitalist Left was founded on 2nd July 4552 as a broad united front for anticapitalists, primarily led by the Trigunian Socialist Movement (consisting itself of the Socialist Alternative, Union of Revolutionary Anarcho-syndicalists, the Democratic Socialist Tendency and others), the Communist Labour Organisation and the Trigunian United Labour Front, in order to better challenge and resist the Party of National Pride, and reestablish a socialist Trigunia. (Formerly the Trigunian Socialist Movement, 4546-4552) Ideologies: General - Socialism - Anticapitalism Socialist Alternative (as part of the Trigunian Socialist Movement) - Metzism - Kaminskism - Orthodox Leonidism - Revolutionary socialism Union of Revolutionary Anarcho-syndicalists (as part of the Trigunian Socialist Movement) - Anarcho-syndicalism - Anarcho-communism Democratic Socialist Tendency (as part of the Trigunian Socialist Movement) - Democratic socialism - Ecosocialism Communist Labour Organisation - Willemburgism - Libertarian Metzism - Council communism - Left communism Trigunian United Labour Front - Metzism-Leonidism - Anti-revisionist Metzism Others - Agrarian socialism - Market socialism - National communism - Ruanism The highest decision making body is the Conference, held regularly every 3 years, before every election. Alongside setting party policy for the next 3 year cycle, as well as tactics, the Conference elects a 160 member General Council for the next three years, which acts as the highest body in between Conferences, and meets more regularly. The General Council may call an extraordinary Conference if it deems fit. The General Council also elects a 20 member Administrative Commission, which meets more regularly than the Council, and prepares the Council's work. For any decision of the Commission to come into effect, the Council must approve, excepting any mundane managing and administration tasks. The General Secretary, the Political Secretary and Administrative Secretary, leader, deputy leader and administrator respectively, are elected separately every Conference but count as members of the General Council and Administrative Commission ex officio. Despite these centralised structures, each member organisation maintains its own functioning and procedure but must follow directives of the Conference unless they leave the Front. Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
Random quote: "You will win, but you will not convince. You will win, because you possess more than enough brute force, but you will not convince, because to convince means to persuade. And in order to persuade you would need what you lack, reason and right in the struggle." - Miguel de Unamuno |
