Established: January 3618 Political position: Centre left Policies We support: - Limited constitutional monarchy and nobility - Strong and well funded military - Abortion for first trimester only - Publicly funded contraception for the disadvantaged - Allowing euthanasia under all reasonable circumstances - Legalisation of soft recreational drugs - Well regulated command economy - Progressive taxation - Balancing rehabilitation and punishment for criminals - Centralised governance to enhance equality and efficiency - Universal publicly funded healthcare and education with limited private options - Public funded and run broadcasting. - Limited libel or slander laws - All forms of stem cell research, no to animal research of all kinds. - Greater state and private sector action on environmental protection - Full animal rights and closing down all zoos and private menageries - Agricultural subsidies to low income farmers - Looser adoption laws, allowing all a chance to adopt - Permissive social laws with regards to sexuality and marriage - Points based immigration system and a multicultural society - Loose amnesty laws to assist needy refugees - Internationalist foreign policy, full engagement with Terra - Dovani political and federal union. - Eminent domain with full compensation. - In support of nuclear energy - Public funded infrastructure projects - Generous welfare policies to stamp out poverty - Non aggressive secularism. There are 35 party chapters in each Crownland and each chapter elects 2 delegates to a party Congress held every four to five years. The party platform is adopted by the Congress. The party leadership is elected by party delegates, an absolute majority of votes being necessary for victory. The party's youth organisation is the Socialist Future (Sozialist Zukunft). |
