Details
Nation[?]: Commonwealth of Lodamun (Lodamun)
Seats[?] in National Congress[?]: 0
Color[?]:
Description[?]:
The Optimates are a group of nobles who believe in the mos maiorum, the customs of our forefathers. Though they are a platform for aristocracy and mild good old tyranny in the Greek sense of the word, the Optimates do not consider themselves to be conservatives. Tradition is a custom that does not need protection: it is the way it is and evolves by the grace of the citizens. The Optimates further believe in laissez-faire and charity, which they consider to be the pillars of a free society. They do advocate the need for a well organised army and the rule of justice. The leaders of the Optimates are (among others): Marcus Cornelius Sulla, Marcus Tullius Cicero, Marcus Porcius Cato Uticensis, Titus Annius Milo, Lucius Lucceius, Marcus Calpurnius Bibulus, Marcus Junius Brutus, Quintus Hortensius and Quintus Caecilius Metellus Scipio |
