Description[?]:
The Green Progressive Alliance (GPA) is a political party founded in January 4392 by activists Steven Adler and Neil O'Hara, as a direct result of growing discontent with the ruling political elite. The GPA vowed to take a progressive, green and inclusive course of political action based on the three Principles: Prosperity, Ecology and Safety. During the Elections of 4392 the GPA gained 30.281 votes, earning it 0,07% of the national vote. Chairman Steven Adler retired after the first elections to make room for a younger candidate: Paul Lombardo. Under the leadership of Lombardo the party gained 12,65% of the votes in the Elections of 4396, giving the GPA 38 of the 300 votes in parliament. In 4398 the GPA called for early elections after two parties in parliament dissolved. This vote was unanimously apporved and saw the GPA grow from 38 to 62 seats in Parliament, gaining the votes of 20,8% of the voters. Paul Lombardo was voted in for a second term als Chairman of the Party. In the 4400 snap elections, the GPA lost many seats due to the upcoming new parties. After this loss, Paul Lombardo resigned and was replaced by Steven Sambridge. The GPA entered into a coalition with Striving for Gaduridos, Gaduridos Labour and the Progressive Conservative Party. In April 4401, the GPA-ministers (3) resigned from the Cabinet M. White I because of a lack of talking and cooperation among the four parties of the Cabinet. The GPA consequently called in early elections. In those elections the GPA won 2 seats, gaining 38 seats in Parliament. After this electoral success, the GPA joined in a coalition with SfG and GLG and delivered 4 ministers. In the elections of 4405 the GPA |
